Ok I am about to head to sleep but I had to share something.
Today was really a day from hell. The oldest princess with Down Syndrome has been seeing specialist so close together that I can't breathe...and she has this palate expander..we had a VERY hard day today SOOOOO
All day she is strutting around with me and granny, AKA my mom. Because of her feet she already has this funny little strut where she drags her right foot and while she is walking she is checking it all out. Well, we are in two different doctors offices today. We had to go back and forth to one office (that didn't go over really well) and she was hilarious. I think she made marriage proposals to about 30 people today. She was like Telly Salves.."who loves you babe? You love me well I love you! ? Ok we are getting married" People were getting some fine entertainment from all of us.
I didn't sleep last night so I was slap happy by 4pm.
They shoved a camera up her nose and this kiddo still had me laughing so hard I was crying. Those are the pictures you see below. I really had cried all day.
The moral of my story is this. I get frustrated. I get beaten down. I get demoralized on this journey at times but that girl, MY girl:
1. Got turned down over 30 times for marriage today
2. Walks with a cute yet interesting limp
3. Had a camera shoved in a place cameras don't belong
4. Tried on bras at JC Penny's
5. Put up with her crazy ass mother all day and everyday....
And she still smiles, loves, lives, laughs, and hugs no matter who you are.
I am one blessed woman.
